commissioning

Our aim is to make M74 furniture as accessible as possible. To that end we’ve designed a growing collection of handmade-to-order products - which allows us to eliminate the design fees usually associated with handcrafted pieces.

We’ve invested a great deal of time in developing these designs, and we stand behind them. But because we know your home may require a slightly different size to those shown in store, we’ve also built in some flexibility - and are often able to customise the dimensions and materials of the furniture at little or no extra cost.

However, if you’d like to look at potentially commissioning an entirely new bespoke project there is no charge and absolutely no obligation for initial consultation. Because we believe this stage is an investment in building valuable long-term relationships.

It is worth bearing in mind though, that a bespoke project - if moved forward - will soon require design and management time to properly develop and create, and this will add to the eventual cost of the finished piece. Exactly how much this will add is entirely dependent upon the complexity and scope of the project, and we’re very up-front about costs, but a good basic guide would be to add around 15% to the prices of similar items on our furniture page (e.g a dining table)

To take a look at the sort of things that are possible, and the environment where we work, please do have a look at our bespoke projects section or our photo album.

We look forward to hearing from you!
